Avoid this phone like a plague. While the phone is great while it works and so is the camera, I constantly have issues with dropped calls and incoming calls going straight to voice mail … I didn't believe the reviews about bad reception and still bought it and now I am outside of the return window

The description clearly says "Unlocked". What reviews are you referring to?

I had this for about a week. I returned it and got the 7. The wireless charging and seemingly slow charging was a no for me. Plus the live wallpaper kept switching back every day and it really made me angry.

Sizewise how do you feel about the pixel 7?

You basically need the referral from someone and then apply that during checkout.

The budget versions of these phones are so hit or miss, the "a" versions. On the 5a now and it sucks, been on the Google product line for a long time and never had problems in the past.

And yet my 5a was vastly superior to my Pixel 6 Pro.

Awful signal on the 6 line. The new chips just can't handle the radios reliably.

I went to best buy yesterday and played with the 7 pro and the 6a.

7 pro has curved edges which is annoying but the 120hz is beautiful. I really just need the live translate feature which is available on both the 6a and 7 pro but 6a has no telephoto camera. The mannnny reports of the crappy 4g/5g modem and bad GPS scare me a bit too. Supposedly google put a much better modem in the 7 pro vs the 6 line.

$589 + fees @ mint for 7 pro vs $300 + $100 google store credit (in 8 to 10 weeks). Hard to decide.

My 5a is a piece of garbage. So glitchy. Few hundred dollar paper weight.

I've heard bad thing about the Pixel 6 as well.

Sucks because the Pixel 1-3 were so good never had any issues.

Just bought the 7 and am waiting for it to arrive. I'm hoping it's better and they've got the issues worked out.

That's weird... I had a Pixel 5a and it was really good with great battery life... but my 7 Pro that I have now is clearly superior and also a great phone even though it doesn't have the great battery life that my 5a had.

Also had Pixel 2 and 3 and they were good/great too.

Also had Pixel 6a until I upgraded to 7 Pro and it had some issues but Android 13 resolved most of them (but not all).

I also had a Pixel 3a but I didn't use that one too much (not because it was bad though)... wow... didn't realize I had so many Pixels until I posted this.
