No experience with the refurbs but I decided this was too good a deal not to try one with the 720Wh battery. I used PayPal so I could get free return shipping and funded the PayPal transaction with my Costco Citi card for an additional 2 years on the warranty. Both perks gave me enough piece of mind to try out a refurb.

Great deal, but my personal rule is no batteries or SSDs on refurb. Too risky when you don't know how many cycles have already been used. And I doubt reduced battery life is covered by any warranty.

Makes sense, but this includes a 2 year warranty by Allstate as well.

I agree with the Ssd comments because ain't no "refurbing" an ssd. But these, I think would be pretty well QC'd. if they were returned for non functional then there would be a good amount of testing to verify the repairs were correct. Also battery capacity/life can degrade with something as simple as improper storage (too hot or too cold) so even brand new batteries could have a degraded and you wouldn't really know it

Your listing is for the extra battery only for the Ecoflow River Pro power station. It does not include the actual power station.

Listing says **free returns**.

2-year AllState warranty included.

AMEX adds 1 year at the end of the AllState warranty. I did not know that the Costco Visa always adds 2 years. I will have to investigate. Though, my past experience has been that the AMEX extended warranty is much smoother than the Citi extended warranty.

You know, you posting that about refurbs not covered did ring a bell, but I just looked it up. If it is refurbished by the manufacturer, then it is covered. At least for the AMEX Bonvoy card.

However, might not be such a bad idea to get the extra year from the Costco Visa though. Hmm, I have a few hours to figure out my plan. :-)
