I abandoned Wyze v2 and v3 and switched to Eufy's versatility because of the lack of outlets and having to buy long microUSB cables.
The great thing about wyze is that you can watch all live views as they're happening. But their subscription service ruined it for me.
The great thing abou Eufy is their versatility but their UI is god damn garbage. I have bought outdoor cam pro, S40 and E40.
These are great for low foot traffic areas like side yards, sheds, nooks and crannies. You really get the maximum battery life there.
In moderate traffic area like garage it'll last about 3 months.
In heavy traffic like your driveway or front lawn that captures cars constantly passing on the street, it'll last about a month. You would benefit by getting a solar panel added, but At this point you might as well get the S40 for the spotlight, color night vision and built-in solar panel as the E40 doesn't have this.

In my case, the one covering the driveway is connected to the garage door opener outlet on the ceiling .

Eufy app has annoying pop-up / banners ads on their products / services / surveys
I switched over to Eufy a few months ago (through Slickdeals) and this is my greatest complaint. Now the app shows an advert for Homebase3 whenever I launch it. The menu always has a red dot for referrals. The Messages menu is always flagged with a new message... for referrals. It's enraging. I bought it for functionality but it feels like I'm walking into a sales pitch every time I want to see who rang my doorbell.
I'm leaning against the homebase 3 on principle now because they keep beating me over the head with it.

Not sure if there are any excluded models, but I use rtsp from my eufy cams into tinycam pro. All my cams all at once across phones tablets and TV's (Android boxes). Only thing I haven't figured out is the ptz, but I don't move mine much.
I have the eufy 2k wired doorbel and 2 x eufy 2k flood light cameras. I like all them, the one flood light alerted me to someone walking through my backyard while I was at lunch today. I seen a police officer getting ready to pull out of my neighborhood so I stopped and quick asked him what recourses I had against people (this person in particular), and i described him and he said it might be the same person they're just looking for. he asked when he cut across my yard and I told him about 10 minutes or so and I quickly pulled up the Event on my one flood light cam. Cop confirmed he was who they were looking for. I told him it was none of my business what he did but I told him if you can add trespass charges to whatever else he has (or will have), I will be more than happy to press them.
My question though, I have heard so many negative things about the home base... and I am thinking I do not want to incorporate that into my network... is there a way to use the cameras WITHOUT the home base?

IMO the benefit of this and a remote solar panel is much larger solar panel you can aim properly while keeping your camera under the eaves for glare/rain.
If the sensors are different that's a big one, I do like the night vision of my 2K C24 cams
