I'm tempted to grab this, but I have my eyes set on the QN90B which is cheaper, performs a bit better, in color, view angle, and brightness ref RTINGS.COM [rtings.com]. What has me tempted about this one is its thin profile. The QN90B is still thin but this about is about 25% thinner, where the QN95B has a flat back which will mount flush to a wall with a low profile mount. Another feature that also helps with low profile mounting is the Smart Connect box in the QN95B, making it a lot easier to configure. Any one has experience with this TV that would like to chime in and help me pull the trigger on this one right now instead of waiting for a deal on the QN90B?

well the qn90b is 2600 on amazon. its quite a bit cheaper.

I replaced qn90a with with this. I love it, but it sure if I'd spend this much more over qn90b

It's a beautiful tv and HDR content is simply beautiful.

Blooming off axis can be bothersome. Otherwise it's minimal and vs black crushing, I'd take some blooming. It's what Samsung did, and also Sony with their x95k.

It's a personal decision if 1k more is worth the design and 1connect.

I paid MUCH less so it wasn't a decision for me

I'm placing the TV in a super bright room with windows all around, as far as reviews have come either the 90B or the 95B would both be the best TV for a bright room. As far as the issues you've mentioned I'm guessing they would be prevalent on both?

$1k more is a lot more though, in the long run the extra $1k will allow me to upgrade sooner without feeling wasteful. Decisions, decisions.

Not sure, but I do know qn95b uses an upgraded processor. Maybe it's this that enables it to achieve brightness, especially highlights which is does impressively.

However, in the end, those are both great, and without having side by side, could you tell the difference?

I'm very happy with 95b, but think I would've said the same for 90b.

How much will it nag you if you don't have 1connect? And how long will you keep the TV for.. these are the 1000$ questions to help you decide.
