Nice find OP. Not everyone will like the ball grip, but I find it comfortable and handle holds the bits securely. JIS bits great for working on Japanese cars/motorcycles, and pozi bits a must for assembling IKEA stuff. FYI, you can usually find these for ~ $5 on amazon.jp, but makes sense only if you're ordering enough other stuff to offset the shipping.
Newer model is more versatile. Only 2 dollars more

Nice. I love Vessel. It's the only drivers and/or bits I'll use. (Sadly, Vessel USA is not as well done as their home base dose.. proving that just because something is made in a certain country does not automatically mean it'll be good/bad. It does mean that the items companies sell to us in the US are often lower quality, because we will still buy it. If you've ever used a Makita, Bosch outside the US, you know what I mean.)

True. I buy my ratcheting, and the electric driver from .JP as well as a lot of other awesome products only available in Japan.
I wish Project Farm would include (and understand the differences of) Vessel JP. NOT the Vessel US brand. I always ask him to include it. But after he did the recent ratcheting driver test, (With the LTT/Megapro I lost a great deal of confidence in him. It just felt like it broke the code.)
Never heard of this brand -- looks interesting. I have a ball grip Phillips head screwdriver that I bought in Japan that's been my favorite, by far, for years now. So much more comfortable, and it's taken a beating without any problems. I wish I had bought more tools over there!

I got this a few years ago, works great with JIS screws found on most Japanese vehicles and bike parts. No more stripped heads!
Picked up some Vessel JIS screwdrivers when I got my 1988 Land Cruiser. Very nice quality and higher confidence when disassembling no longer available parts on it. My fav is the #2 ratcheting ball grip by far.
I've read getting the bits out are a pain. How is your experience with them?
I have both the full size and stubby milwaukee screwdriver you linked. The full size is a PITA to get the bit out, esp the flatheads which hurt your finger if it's jammed in there. On the stubby it's not as bad because there's less length to press, but could definitely be better too. Screwdriver is sturdy though, but getting those bits out does suck. I simply don't press the bits back in all the way and leave the end hanging out the back so i can pull them out rather than press on the bit head to get that started.
One other small annoyance with the Milwaukee is that there is space in the handle to hold all but one of the bits, as if they expected you to always leave a bit in. This is annoying when packing the tool into a bag since the one bit without a slot can fall out into a tool bag.
