Tempting but I think I'll wait for next iteration where they have the voice changer built into the helmet. This version is very similar to the previous version with the main exception of the red lenses and minor paint job updates.

Have to say I also impulse bought and am very impressed with the build quality. The breath sounds are a bit short IMHO but solid deal at $99 and a worthy edition to the movie room decor.

You can wear it. It's basically 3 pieces, the top helmet part, the face mask, and the neck piece w/ the lower part of the "jaw". The neck piece opens up and goes around your neck like a shackle. It has magnets that connect it to the mask that goes over your head/face like a catchers mask. And there are magnets that connect the top part on. Because it's plastic, and there's no vents near the top...it gets pretty hot if you wear for a bit. I have the previous version of this helmet which is the same basic design.

I bought the previous version THINKING it had the voice changer... I was disappointed when I realized all it has was a breathing sound. My bad 😖😅 the thing will looks great on the shelve where it's been for a year

Not only that...the button for the breathing sound is on the neck. So it looks like you just ran and checking your pulse while you're a bit winded.

Thankfully someone pointed out that this does not have a voice changer feature. I will pass. There was a red storm trooper helmet a while back for $99 or less too and I bought that one for my wife it has a voice changer. I'll wait and pass on this to buy her another gift.
