I've had this for a year and love it. There are many better options that make better coffee, but nothing that does both coffee and k cups pretty well for this price. Would definitely recommend for those on a budget and want to reduce countertop clutter.

I have this model. Lots of versatility built into a single machine...Jack of all trades, master of none...but it works well enough for my family. I drink a lot of coffee, so we all have a couple of K-cups initially, then I brew a pot of decaf from grounds.
1. Wish it had a larger water reservoir. Probably fine for normal people.
2. The water reservoir lid really needs a better way to grab it for removal/replacement. We added a Pop-it on top for a lid handle. Works great!
3. Had issue with an off-brand of K-cups ("Donut House?") where it would push the grounds into the cup. No issue with any other cups we've tried.
4. After K-cups, the drips fall onto the warmer (cold) vs a drain tray like a normal Keurig only machine, so you end up wiping the warmer to keep it clean.
It's a good machine. I definitely recommend.

Are you able to select brew type when using a k cup? For instance, select a rich brew?

I know what it says. It doesn't specify if that is with both ground coffee and k cups or just ground coffee.
I've been burned by misleading Ninja copy before, so, if it doesn't specifically spell it out I always ask.

On one of the pictures it does state that you can select brew type for the k cups.

Does this model have consistent temperature? Consumer Reports say the CFP301 does not?

Yes, you can select brew type for k-cups and ground. I know this because my daughter always selects cold brew, and I forget to change it. Ever dang time.....ugh.

On my Ninja there is a lever you slide and it cuts off liquid flowing to the carafe

After trying to replace a 10 yr old bunn cafe, I returned a couple others before loving this one. Other than being the top a bit difficult to screw on the carafe I love it and you don't necessarily need to use the top either...

Best of both worlds here. She's happy and I'm happy. She has her k-cup and I have my fresh ground beans. Brewing a Yeti or a pot it works great. Great options for size and strength. Keep warm is at a perfect temperature for the carafe.

Great price. I'd buy again.
