Did Acer tell you it's hdmi 1.4? you could be right, but can you supply something from Acer confirming that?
I'm not an videophile, looks good to me. I have fire cube 2nd gen and 4k max, ... looks good to me. Beats 480i tv I used to watch as kid.
I do have Xbox series S that does 4k 60f , so I can watch on that too. My 4k hdtv's have Fire OS and Roku OS on them, and stuff looks good to me.
... this 169 dollar PC is not cutting edge ... but movies and stuff looks good to me. I'm easy.
p.s. I should add that Youtube does 8k too and lists it at 4320p60 8k.

I own the 3 different Acer Desktop PC's that Acer has been selling the last 4 months the celeron model , i3-10th gen model, and the i5-11th gen model. My main PC as daily driver is the i5-11th gen model. Here is info on this processor:

I personally think the i3-10th gen ACER looks good when I watch video, for me it is not a deal breaker at all.
We are talking about the Intel UHD 630 graphics in the i3-10th gen compared to UHD 730 graphics in the i5-11th gen.
p.s. To clarify , if you need higher graphics you will have to get graphics card that supports better graphics that is low profile and is compatiable with 300 watt power supply.
It is interesting as I pointed out in my other post that YouTube is saying that 2160p60 is 4k and 4320p60 is 8k... that is what is seen when you choose what quality you choose to watch video on Youtube.
Maybe if you plug in display settings 2160p60 it will work ... and youtube considers that 4k. The 4320p60 is 8k. On my 43 inch 50 inch, 65 inch 4k hdmi's youtube 4k videos look fantistic to me. I don't think this 170 dollar pc with inbedded graphics should be compared to higher much more expensive processors with expensive graphics card. I bought this PC to do general stuff on with processors that around just a couple of years old.

When I look at 4k ultra test videos on youtube , animal and nature scenes on all 3 Acers it looks amazing, and bright and colorful to me.
We have choices: get the celeron Acer 88 dollars, the i3-10th gen for 170 dollars, or the i5-11th gen for 300 dollars. They all work great for me. The specs are different so take that into consideration.
This is a basic computer that will fill the needs of a lot of people.

the i5-12th gen uses the same Intel 730 graphics as the i5-11th gen uses.
before you posted my i5-11th gen was in hdmi 2 port, and gave 60hz, I moved it into the 1st hdmi port and it gave 60hz. I don't know what happens if I use both hdmi ports at same time.
UPDATE: I restarted my PC and in HDMI 1, I saw HDR is enabled. When I was in HDMI 2, the HDR was blocked out. Also I see that when I'm using HDMI it seems brighter, and I was going to get hdtv remote to turn it down like I like it in my bedroom at night. Both ports give 60hz at 4k. That is new, I guess I can explore HDR features, over the next few days.
So, thanks for sharing because I didn't realize that hdmi 1 is HDR.
This forum room is based on i3-10th Acer, so I am sharing different features on all 3 Acers to give heads up. Many times over the last 4 months, people were asking what are the differences in the Celeron model, i3-10th gen model, and i5-11th model, ... so this is continued discussion about the differences. Again, I love all 3 models, but they do have different specs.
p.s. After having HDR on for 10 minutes, it was too bright for me and I turned it off for now.
