What have you been smoking, 2 generations old? The 13th gen desktop chips only just came out. Laptop chips aren't even announced yet and it'll easily be a few months or more after they are announced before we see laptops with them. 11th gen is basically 1 gen old, but cpus haven't been advancing a ton lately for laptops/desktops, and the igp in 12th and future 13th gen chips looks to be the same xe graphics with the same number of cores, at least until the 14th gen are announced sometime late next year.

Solid specs and decent price, but no usb-c and no usb-c charging as a result. Also can't find if it's limited to HDMI 1.4 or if it's 2.0 or 2.1.

U must be living under a rock. 12 gen is much better performance. But of course you somehow think iGPU is the most important in an CPU. that's like saying the stereo in a car is the most important for the car

What use case are you using a laptop for where the CPU is a limiting factor for starters? and beyond that where can you get an i5 12th gen for anywhere near this price?
