Amazon really cripples these without paying for the subscription service. Their pricing is pretty fair, but there is no way to make these record 24/7, even with paying. There will always be a gap of several seconds between clips.
That being said, I often have weird issues with these and the connected SYNC module. There are times where I know the units should have been triggered but they aren't. There are often recordings missing. One of my units randomally disconnects and reconnects to the internet several times a day, as well as my SYNC module.
They are good for checking in on a camera feed or where 100% accuracy is not needed. If you want a full fledged security system look for something else.
