It didn't take long for the normal posts to arrive. Seriously--we're talking about an 85" TV for less than $1,000. No one is expecting OLED quality or anything close at this price point. I'm sure if anyone was in the market for OLED-type picture quality for an 85" TV they would not be on SlickDeals to begin with.

I don't know if I'd call this terrible. Mediocre maybe. For 85inches you're not paying this much for amazing picture. You're just paying for size.

You are insane. This is a great entry level TV, for the price, it's a good deal. I understand slick deals people are cheap but you have champagne dreams with a Miller Light budget. Geez….

Amazing. 85" for less than 1k. It doesn't seem that long ago I was reading about new models this size at CES going for over $10,000.
