2499 looks like the new normal for the C2 77. may be lg is already ready to launch the 2023 modells and needs to get rid of the 2022 ones/
they launch in the Spring like every year. The simple fact is tech always goes down in prices, and Samsung being in the OLED game also helps reduce prices.

Samsung's QD-OLED and their aggressive discounting has really brought OLED prices down. I'm thrilled about it, but I do hope that they continue innovating in the space, as while QD-OLED is amazing (I love my S95B), it's not perfect. There's still room for improvement!

Samsung doesn't really innovate much, especially in the area of image processing. Their TVs basically stay the same, they add buzzy names and are very aggressive on pricing…this is how they remain the top seller.

Well I got the Costco Nov 25-28 ad in the mail and they had the 48" C2 at $979. I bet you this TV will drop in price at Best Buy come black friday.
But on the good side, you can just buy this TV and if it does drop in price then you can have customer service make an adjustment
Best Buy's Black Friday deals are already live. Black Friday is not for high end TVs. They've only dropped the prices of C2s by $50 for the 55" and $100 for the 65". I'm not sure about the other sizes. There won't be any significant discounts for this TV for Black Friday, though. The only LG OLEDs that will get bigger discounts will be their budget ones like the A1 and B2.

Yeah I agree, but I feel like this is the lowest price it's ever been so far... And I can't think of another time when we can expect the price to drop more unless we wait when the c3 comes out
