The right thing to do is to just refuse the Costco delivery and that way you don't have to go to the store nor deal with returning it. Then, they can sell it as brand new (and only be out the shipping costs one way)

Hopefully Google fixes these quickly with new firmware else it's going back for another Orbi
I didnt get my hopes up but played along and got passed between sales and tech support 6 times.
