Please be careful about when it says Rent Payments. Only specific rental companies are covered in it.Triple Check with your rental company if they accept it.
For the 5 transactions per month requirement, if I use Bilt Mastercard to pay monthly dues (gym, Netflix, Spotify, and etc.), do those transactions count? Also, does my monthly rent payment also count into the 5?
I pay the rent (1) and I make 4 .25 cent payments to my dish account for the past 2 years
For the four 0.25 cents payments you made, did you pay it on your dish webpage and use Bilt as a checking account (with routing/account numbers) or as a credit card, or you pay it on your Bilt webpage? Just wondering how you set up four recurring payments for the same service/account each month.
Does anyone know where to find the account number/routing number. It seems they changed the option to view it. I saw it once in the app/online a while ago but cannot find it now
I sent myself a check so that I can see the numbers if nobody knows
Any guide on how to set that up with the new system?
Once you get the Bilt card then it's easy to figure out. It gives you a bank and routing number. You set your mortgage up with that information. But prior to doing all that, it's going to do some test deposits and you have to patiently wait before you set up the account. I kept finding datapoints where people were using it for their mortgage but no one explained how to do it.
You can earn a max of 100k points on rent and who knows how long this lasts for. So I think this is an important card to have early in your card churning career and you maximize your payments. In the end you'll have a bunch of points and pay your mortgage off faster. I love that the points can transfer to Alaska, especially valuable since that Amex conversion to Alaska points will be going away end of June.
I got lucky and everything continued to work over the transitional period for the first month. I'm on auto pay so if everything works out fine for month #2, then I'm satisfied. Kinda sucks to hear about the numerous other issues that are happening,

yup. I use vending machine purchases and a magazine subscription to do this.

Can you imagine if they did allow mortgage payments, rental business owners would be wracking in huge points per year
I am currently using it for my properties so they must have changed it to allow it
