"Thank you for holding on this chat, I have checked this link you have provided me where you found this item cheaper, however and apparently this is not a competitor included on the competitor list we can price match, so we won't be able to price match this item from the link provided, if you found this item cheaper on another website as Amazon, Walmart, Microcenter, BrandSmartUSA, or any other. Please contact us back to check on this information again. Also I will provide a copy of our Price match POLICY were you may found even further information from competitors we can price math indeed."
1) They don't match Staples. But I pointed out that this was in store, and BB price match says "local competitors".
2) Staples is not an authorized Apple reseller. But I sent him a link to Apple's list of authorized retailers and of course Staples is one.
3) He didn't have the authority to price match. But when I entered chat, it asked questions to direct me to the right agent.
I'll try tomorrow in store.
This saved me approximately $40 after taxes and shipping from the Costco deal a week or two ago.
