lol yup! Some people are just... simpletons
It's not disliked, it's just that the current version of iPad OS doesn't fully realize the potential of the M1 chip.
Is it overkill for just note taking and reading books ? Yes, but if you can score it for $599, it's a slick deal!

The guy who did the price match looked at the Staples website and saw that Staples Connect is apart of Staples and that's all he needed to see to do it. The manager who denied me had me look at the details of the ad. He noted that none of the stores in my state were in the store list and that's when he shot it down.
If you got a laid back manager to look into it they'll probably play ball with you.
Anyway, I ended up going back and trying again with a different manager. He was much cooler and ended up PMing it for me.
