So this is WILD. I called Best Buy and was told they aren't price matching. Then I called Best Buy again, gave the sku, told them it was the iPad Pro 2021 128GB and staples had it for $599.. she tells me "The SKU you gave me is $599" I refreshed on the Best Buy site, still shows $699 so she helped me to process the purchase at $599

How weird.

I just picked up the last one in Durham, NC. We were planning on upgrading my wife's iPad Air 2 with the new iPad Air, but for the same price, the Pro was a no-brainer.

Exactly. For price matching it is best to use page 4 of the Sunday ad printed out. Worked for me.

Got it price matched today at the 2nd store I went to. Online was no dice. Basically comes down to how anal the manager is. Just play dumb, but have the ad up on your phone with the price showing. Be very nice to them as they have authority to do it or not. Try not to show the "at select stores" section of the ad page.

The guy who did the price match looked at the Staples website and saw that Staples Connect is apart of Staples and that's all he needed to see to do it. The manager who denied me had me look at the details of the ad. He noted that none of the stores in my state were in the store list and that's when he shot it down.

If you got a laid back manager to look into it they'll probably play ball with you.

Nope didn't work on the 2021 M1 model, BUT it worked on the new 2022 M2 model and I bit. What's another $120 LMAO plus save me from jumping through PMing hoop
