Why does it say "and tool only" if it's corded. Isn't "tool only" for when battery powered tools don't come with the battery

I literally just bought 2 routers... but man this seems like a good deal to just leave it as a table... it does say new lower price, not sale?

I bought this a few months back for this price. It is a what you see is what you get deal. Router, table, and no bits. It works for everything I need it for.

Some assembly required.

If you need a basic router table for large cuts this should be sufficient. If you need to make precise cuts for cabinet doors, I do not recommend this. With no middle insert, there is no way to correct/adjust the surface to make it completely flat.

I ultimately ended up returning this as I was not able to get the precise cuts needed for stile and rail cabinet doors.

I ended up getting the Bosch 1617EVS [lowes.com] router and RA1181 table [lowes.com] which was way more expensive but had the ability to adjust the table surface, and thus allowing me to get the precise cuts needed.

For reference, I was using these router bits from rockler: https://www.rockler.com/bead-in-s...er-bit-set

Just know what you're getting. The router itself is a tremendous value. I felt it was of great build quality.

I bought for this price last year. The output-side fence is a little finicky to get square, but I used this to make new baseboards for my house. 4" tall boards with a nice 1/4 router line about 1.5" from the top. Worked like a charm.

I have the blue hawk from years ago and picked up this router and table off Facebook for cheap (they thought it was broken). WOW what a difference. The routers look nearly identical but the kobalt one performs much better (more rpm, faster spool-up, torque)
