you know you can just buy $500 visa/master giftcards and use it later. you can pay your utilities bill extra. There are ways. No one in the right mind would ask you to spend 3600 on things you dont need just to get 900 back laugh out loud
From my understanding, they generally don't let you purchase "gift cards" to meet the requirements. If I'm wrong here, then people by all means tell me.

Is Renting a property considered as business?

It is considered. Just put your name as company name

You are wrong. At least when it comes to Chase. Don't try it with Amex or US Bank though.

Yes, you are incorrect.
Everything in moderation though, Dont go and spend all 6k on GC's and that will be flagged, Few purchases spread out should be fine.
Also setup cell phone alerting on your account so when u buy these big ticket purchases, they might trigger fraud alert and you can approve them on phone so its smoother.

Since I'm not currently a business owner I'd probably lose money on this card.

Like I cannot for the life of me think of how to spend $6k on a card in 3 months. My car is paid off, my mortgage won't let me pay it by credit card, and everything essential in my life is probably $500/month. That would leave me with $4500 I have to spend to get back $900. So essentially I'd be losing $3600 instead of gaining $900. If you can think of a way or know that you have to spend $6k in 3 months like for business expenses, now you've got a reason to use it.

Don't use a card to get cash back, use it because you already have to and might as well get some cash back for it.
I've gotten these in the past and basically use these to pay estimated taxes (which anyone can do) the excess is returned as a refund. There is a cost of 1.8% to do that but on $6000 that is less than $120 and the benefit is $900 so the math is easy...

A few people noticed they didn't get any bonus information after signing up. Might have to call them and verify

Thanks I did called them and she read out all my benefits including the bonus. I did a google search and it seems this is a common thing...... I will call again just to be sure. lol

but yea, given the dry spell last two years I am sure many qualify for this card. You can get both ink cash and ink unlimited. Just make sure you are on the hook for the $900.....

Can you use this card to pay property taxes, and still be eligible for the $900 bonus?

Yes but my county is charging 2.3% credit card fee (CA)
