I had Ink Business Unlimited card for a while. I opened Ink Business Cash card on Jan 7, 2023 and closed my unlimited card. When do you think i can reapply so I can take advantage of $900 bonus? Do I have to wait for 1 month? Also will this count in 5/24 rule?
Yea especially because I fly on prepaid carriers and only have the cheapest home internet I can find. At least for the 5% categories, my monthly spend is probably not even $60-70 a month.
I could prepay my internet bill, but that would be about 20 years worth of service
Prepay phone bills, water bills, power bill, car insurance, rent etc
You can purchase anything then cancel, it still counts towards the total amount needed ($6k). I have bought airline tickets earlier this month then canceled, but the $1.7k that got refunded still showed in the total amount spent.
Are you sure that such credits/refunds back won't be taken out of the $6K spend consideration at the end of billing cycle? Its hard to believe it is true because anyone can spend easily 6K on a family vacation trip and cancel to hit this target within 24hrs to get their entire money back and doesn't have to worry a dime about meeting such spending limits. If I were you, I cross validate to make sure these refunds still counts as spending
The current market rate for new credit card account bonus is 1k spend in the first 90 days of account opening and you will get $200 bonus so 6k spend for $900 on this card isn't really that impressive. The only good thing about this deal is just one time hard pull on your credit instead of multiple if you apply for different cards.

Looks like they approve everyone. Did anyone get denied?
What is UR?
Ultimate Reward points. Chase's point system
And, especially if you travel, UR are worth easily 1.5-2 cents a point (and potentially 2-3 times that for premium air redemptions)
Making 1.5UR worth at least 2.25% cash-equivalent, and potentially 3-9% cash equivalent, for non-category spending.
Please let me know. Thanks.
