Regular price is $69.99, $20 discount during the promotional period.

Not all will qualify, must be Military, Veteran, etc..

The price has been creeping up every year but I usually buy a card around this year to add to my current subscription.

Last three years I've gotten it for 50, 40 and 50. So not sure if we see 40 again this year or if 50 will be the best price. Previously it had gone as low as 30 (BF 2018) but haven't seen that since.

I've always bought 2 years at a time and it does extend it. I don't know what the max amount is that you can add at once, however.

Yes, up to 5 years.

My currently says:Subscription expires on February 24, 2027

(So Feb 25th, I can add another year. These --in the past-- have come on physical cards. I think I have two left. One year they were $29.99. But, this is a good deal since you can share it with family and they each get 1TB of storage)

As others has said, yes you can stack multiple years. Also for each one if you elect to auto-renew, you get an extra month. You can disable auto-renew after.

I still use an old copy of office 2013 with seemingly no issues. What's the benefit of switching to a yearly subscription for 365?

Same with any software, older code, security updates fall off, incompatiblities with OS, plug-ins, etc. New features, what have you.

I HATE the new UI, it's boxy, unintuitive and super cluttered. And it defaults to saving everything in the cloud, lots of messing around to get things a little less "available to the world."

To me, Office 2010 was the pinnacle of Microsoft design- it was black and yellow, easy on the eyes with better layout, much simpler and to the point, and even felt more responsive. But I finally bit the bullet and got on the subscription bandwagon, mostly for support and security updates. Even at $99 a year, i could share the 4 other licenses with others and ask for $25 apiece, covering the cost.

Hi, sorry if a newb question, please forgive/indulge: my brother is Army and may or may not have this for himself, can he buy this as a gift for me to use/activate without him/his email being involved? Does he need to activate, or be one of the family iDs? Would be cool if he could buy two years and "hand" them to me? Has anyone here done this before? Much appreciated!!!

I get it for the 1TB of cloud storage for 6 users so about 6TB of cloud storage.

No clue about the email version as that one is new, but if he buys the physical versions he can just give you the card and you can input it into your account with no issue.

I can't seem to find 1 to 6TB of (reliable) cloud storage for anywhere near the $50 this costs. For that alone, this is well worth it. Or am I missing something???

A couple years ago, during holidays, they used to have this for $29.99 at the navy exchange. Guess everything is going up. Good deal since i haven't seen anything cheaper since pre pandemic.
