These are actually really good gloves. Durable enough to re-use several times with hard use, but even at normal price cheap enough to be borderline disposable. I go through between three or four pairs of these a month, and usually only have to finally throw them out to prevent cross-contamination. Would recommend.

I have pretty big hands. Usually wear large or XL, but size 9 is just right for me. Just make sure this is the right size for you.

Would these take off 120v 15amps so I don't have to turn off breakers?

not that knowledgeable about gloves but there have been three different amazon basic type gloves on here: HPPE rubber, cut resistant plastic dot, and these nitrile work gloves. What are these glove types used for? which is the best general purpose?

It really depends on the use case. These are good for working with liquids and greasy areas while still maintaining good grip. Being polyester and nitrile coated, they aren't meant for complete submersion in chemicals like gasoline, diesel, or others that you need fully nitrile gloves to prevent penetration to your skin. However for light jobs where you'll be in contact with grease or or substances, these work great.

Basically all the different rubbers and coatings really just depend on what type of chemicals you'll be handling, and what your needs of the gloves are.

Personally, we use these as general purpose when working in vehicles, and switch to fully nitrile gloves when working with the fluids that may get all over your hands.
