I was looking at this when it was $330. $279 seems alright. I hope the panel isn't a problem. I have an 8GB 2666 module laying around. It may not work in dual channel with different sized modules, but it would be better than 4gb. It's more powerful than the i5-1135G7 for the same price as the Gateway GWTN141 laptop that was posted from Wally World
Max ram specs on oem are all crap. I bought one from staples a while back and tested with a 32GB 3200 and it worked fine.

nits?
The TN panel is a real problem for me. color always seem a bit washout even when viewing at the narrow optimal angle.
You can't charge it via usb-c, if anyone is wondering.
No it can't, but the power brick is not that bigger either, however I am still like the idea of charge via USB-C.
the laptop itself runs Windows 11 Home with only 4 GB RAM. it feels fast and snappy, I open a bunch of tabs and run youtube videos which seems to work fine, from power off to reboot longing with a fingerprint is less than 15 seconds. the laptop feel quite fast even know it got just 4GB RAM

Ya it's a good laptop for the price. Modern CPU with touch screen. The TN panel is probably not as bad as people are assuming. TN panels improve over time. Do you have a picture of the power brick? Just curious.
