No. Sony restricts it to digital PSN Store.

OP - I read the entire add after seeing your reply. I see info about a special "3 day" sale November 3rd, 4th & 5th at the bottom of the ad but it contains nothing about a one day Nov 4th sale on XBOX gift cards???

Correct me if I'm wrong... But don't a lot of stores prohibit buying gift cards with anything but cash and debit?
I just did this a few weeks ago on a smaller sale on PSN cards.

YMMV.

No. You can use credit cards. They don't allow you to buy gift cards with gift cards.

From what I've seen on here, people report not being able to buy large quantities at once and need to spread the transactions over a long time period or at different stores. Something to do with triggering each store's fraud system.
Yep. My fraud alert got triggered. Also MS limits you to 13 gift cards used in 1 purchase (or so the rep on the phone told me).

It works but many store employers act varying levels of shady when you do. I blame the churn days.

The limit is $500 in a single transaction, and $500 in a store per <length of time> (I'm not sure if it's a day or a week). You can however go to the next store a mile down the road (or 2 miles depending on where you are, lol) and do another $500 purchase.

And to answer someone else's questions about using a credit card, you're technically not supposed to use a credit card per the DG store policy to purchase gift cards, however I've only ever had 1 store ask about this. This tells me it's either not very well disseminated or turns out that people who work for near minimum wage aren't going to be bothered giving af, and the machine doesn't stop it from working.

some do. with covid though many stores have gone to avoiding cash. we are at a weird place now where our local airport is TOTALLY cashless except where you can load a temp cc with cash at an atm like machine yet some places charge 3.5-5% for using credit card. strange

Chase Freedom 5% categories are Walmart and PayPal. DG used to take PayPal, but not in quite a while.
