Instead of making a totally useless comment, why don't you provide us with deals on new (not refurbished) 16" QHD laptops with RTX 3070 that are below $1000?
The last year's Legion 5 Pro (AMD) with RTX 3070 is still above $1000. It was sub-$1000 just once and that too only at selective Walmart stores.
Legion 5 with RTX 3070 was $1000 at Gamestop but it had the FHD screen (since it wasn't the Pro version).
ASUS TUF with RTX 3070 was recently slightly above $1000 but again, it was with the FHD 250-nits screen.
Gigabyte A5 with RTX 3070 was available for slightly above $1000 but again, it wasn't QHD and you can't even compare the built quality of that with Omen.
Any more deals that you are aware of, since you clearly seem to know so much about laptops? We're waiting.
I'm giving you a thumbs up for your research and this excellent deal, however I find it wrong to say a laptop that costs 999.99 is "under a 1000 dollars". Technically accurate, however we aren't marketing ads to each other on behalf of companies (hopefully) we are trying to create capitalistic karma.
Please add to the title or the post that this is in-store only at Microcenter. Like all MC deals, it is YMMV. Not everyone has an MC nearby.

I'd just linked this laptop to a buddy last week as "likely the best video package you can buy for the price" which is to say a good value combination between the GPU and the display; personally I also liked that it wasn't some faux cyber deck aesthetic that screamed "gamer flex".

You are not going to find a better gaming laptop for $1k.
