Also want to comment due to some ignorance out there that the ice made in these machines are not refrigerated. The ice is in a perpetual state of melting and recreated into fresh ice. The ice machine maintains the chewable properties because it's not left frozen for long. These use a similar process your favorite restaurant commercial ice machines use.

Best Buy did extend their return policy too, so if the better deals come, you can always return and re-buy. But valid point. I don't know that I've seen the 2.0 model go below this price point though.
