Note that only the Advanced and higher levels are certified to remove lead. The Basic filter removes contaminants down to 1 micron and the Advanced and Premium both filter down to .5 microns.

GE one doesn't fit my GE fridge after checking, but smoking deal for anyone who needs these. Just make sure you check the model on your actual fridge before you buy a bunch of them.

Any particular reason why it doesn't fit? Is there something beyond MWF designation to check for?

Btw, has anyone purchased these before and comment on the taste, etc?

My filter says "RPWFE" on it. The product description says:
"Replacement model: GE MWF, MWFA, GWF, GWF01, GWFA, GWF06, and Kenmore 9991,46-9991, 469991."

Nice in for two two packs for GE. 28 with tax for 7 dollars a filter. No idea what's advanced vs premium for double the price but good enough

I'm sticking with OEM Samsung. Saving some money isn't worth it when enough people in the reviews say they experience leaks.

Looks like these may fit Kenmore (Kenmore 79433 at least but maybe more models)
I typically buy the Aqua Crest filter (5231JA2002A https://a.co/d/4xzlmfS) which also state they fit the LG LTP500. So I'm thinking they're interchangeable?

Will roll the dice for this price.

I read those reviews too before I bought non-Samsung branded filter from Amazon before with no issue. I took a chance because the price difference was almost 4 to 1. Don't know if the purchaser installed them properly or they just bought the wrong model.

Bought this. Water tasted bitter for 2 days before it became ok. Never happened with any other filter.
