10/10 Kudos for posting that it's 2.0 and it's mainly for charging not data transfer.
Reminds people USB-C ≠ USB 3.0.
I bought a lot of USB 3 USB-C cables too and those not necessarily charge at full capacity.
They really messed up the standard when it comes to USB cables, and USB-C was supposed to be the one cable to rule them all, not so much (so far). They really missed the chance to make it finally truly standard. Hopefully they can start naming these things like USB-C1, C2, C3, etc.. this way you would know what they are meant for and buy the one that works best for you, without overpaying for random stuff on Amazon just because they are the first search result or "Amazon Choice"..

What's the best charger to go with these, I guess 65W to 100W should be fine, I believe our chromebooks and thinkpad T490's all use 65W bricks.
They also charge our S22 Plus, Switch, Speakers and other components fastest. I have been using only my laptop chargers to charge the devices around the house and getting ready to donate all my old chargers and get rid of the clutters/e-waste..
So many Amazon Basics products on sale, wonder if they are ending their private label business…

Aluminum electrical wiring is not the preferred choice. For pennies more the manufacturer could have used copper wire.
The name of the color is aluminum not the conductors.
Aluminum Gray.

The M1 iPad draws 36W max so yes, a 100W cable is overkill but if the price is right it doesn't matter. And to get that 36W you would need a bigger charger than your current 20W.

They are not ending their private label business. They are getting rid of inventory. That is why they had two separate Amazon prime occasions this year.
Having a lot of inventory is really bad on the earnings and that was reflected in Amazon's earnings this past week.

Also, they probably want to make more room for holiday stuff.

This is a good time for consumers. You can buy stuff for a deep discount.

Not ending the private label, but they announced recently they are shrinking it dramatically. They will not be producing a wide range of products anymore and are selling off the inventory. They will focus on commodities like paper goods and other essentials.

Many believe this is to avoid regulatory scrutiny, as many countries have warned Amazon about copying popular products from third parties on their platform.

It's possible to charge faster with a more powerful charger and higher Wattage rated cable compared to a crappy 1.2A wall charger that they used to sell and we all jumped at assuming they are just chargers, as long as phone is capable of charging faster with a full capacity charger, it will charge faster, but if your regular wall adapter is charging fast already, it won't make a difference. In my case, My S22 Ultra charges much faster, in about an hour or so using the 65W Thinkpad charger compared to the wall adapter and the crappy USB-C cables I bought from pervious deals.
