Anyone else getting annoyed with amazon basics taking over slickdeals? Seems like every other post is from them

I have about 20 packing cubes of varying sizes, they're Amazon Basics brand purchased about 5 years ago. All still holding up strong, zero problems. I don't even go on short trips anymore without using packing cubes in the backpack. Once you experience them you'll find It's the only way to pack/travel.

Are these sales normal, or they liquidating stock? Really does seem like they might be ending their private label business which faced a lot of legal/regulatory challenges. I know Amazon cut a lot of their projects recently.

I've owned Amazon Basics packing cubes for years, threw them in washer after each trip and still look brand new.

Recently switched to Peak Design packing cubes as I like the compression feature and split sides for clean/dirty laundry. Expensive, but can sometimes get them a bit cheaper with coupons from REI/Mosejaw.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank slickd888

I generally prefer the slim version which I have a bunch and could always use more. However this is a decent set and discounts on packing cubes have been few and far in between so picked up a set.

Thanks for the tip about the slim ones. They look like they're also on sale for $13.36 -- I picked up a set.

Damn SD effect! I had grey one in my bag, with a shipping date of Friday (the blue one was next week). When I went to checkout, it switched to next week. And my trip is 1.5 weeks away!

The other deal had 2 large and 2 medium. This deal has 1 large, 1 medium, 1 small and 1 slim. Same product, same number of pieces, different sizes.

These are nice for organization, I prefer the "compression" versions though. It has an additional zipper than allows you to squish it down to about half the uncompressed size, and if you don't want to compress you don't have to. Much more useful and versatile in my opinion.

Is it possible to unzip these completely and either remove the tops or fold them neatly under them for use as open cubes, for those who have to live out of a suitcase and don't want to keep unzipping and zipping them to get or store this or that item? And if not, are there others that have this feature?
