Sunshine is also banned in CA because long term exposure causes skin cancer. But tobacco and alcohol are still legal because they kill you while making you feel good. Add weed and you got a mighty recipe for the good life lol.

Plastic is made from oil. Therefore California believes the few things out there made from such a component is worthy and generally gets that label. What once was a shining lead by example of a state, has made a complete mockery of itself.

I may be wrong but I think the bulbs are made from a material known to cause cancer. Not that the item itself is harmful. I am sure I will be roasted and corrected if I am wrong.

Hmm. Not a fan of 5k, but curious if these work well with Lutron Caseta. I bought Phillips Warm-Glow about 4 years back and they worked perfectly. Fast forward 2 years later, moved into a new house, installed Lutron Caseta again and bought the "same" Phillips bulbs and they flicker or phase randomly on various dimming levels, on all 3 dimmers I installed. They obviously changed something in the bulb, super bummed because I like those bulbs a lot. Low/High end trim adjustment didn't fix the issue.

Just looking for suitable replacements now. I wouldn't expect Amazon Basics to work with Caseta, but ya never know.
