Nothing really special about this kit, including the price. In comparison, Amazon offered a different kit for $12.49 in early Sept which was a much better value / quality (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09WLQL5VM [amazon.com]). Wouldn't be surprised if it comes around again for Black Friday.

lets not Buy it and see if the price will go down… as they have for many Amazon basic things… A lot of these posts, people are buying at a higher price than they were few days ago, and all the attention has made the prices not decrease any further

lets not Buy it and see if the price will go down… as they have for many Amazon basic things… A lot of these posts, people are buying at a higher price than they were few days ago, and all the attention has made the prices not decrease any further

Nothing really special about this kit, including the price. In comparison, Amazon offered a different kit for $12.49 in early Sept which was a much better value / quality (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09WLQL5VM [amazon.com]). Wouldn't be surprised if it comes around again for Black Friday.

That driver looks remarkably similar to the old iFixit design. Obviously the rest of the kit doesn't look great, but for 10 bucks ill bite. Hopefully the driver is halfway decent.

And BTW, something fishy is going on with Amazon. They have been fire selling their basics inventory. I feel that they know something we dont.

Was it with a coupon or something? Camelx3 doesn't show any price changes since August... It does look like a good kit

My guess is they were having trouble getting inventory and now that they have it people are not buying it at the rate they were 6 months ago.

They're likely doing away with the "Basics" products, streamlining the line or rebranding them. That's all just speculation, since they've reduced prices on so many "Basics" products recently that it arouses suspicion.
BTW, they always know something that we don't! We mere mortals exist here on planet earth. They exist on planet Amazon!

Bought one. Disappointed with the quality, it's going back. It's not even worth the ten bucks it's "on sale" for.

I have two cheap low end similar kits to this. And this looks better than the cheap stuff I have. Atleast this combines the two kits I have into one. But like others have said. The bits are very weak

Walmart has a similar set with many more pieces which has a cheaper everyday price ($10). I bought it for the triangle bits, but was pleasantly surprised with all the small tech repair pieces (suction cup, forceps/tweezer, pry tools, etc). The bits are of expected quality at this price point so no high torque screw removal but very serviceable for my needs.
