One other thing to note is the corner cat sander doesn't come with a dust bag OR the plastic adapter to accept one! The dust bag from the orbital sander is interchangeable BUT without that plastic adapter to accept it, you can't! AND IT COSTS LIKE $13 TO BUY IT!! 🤬

One other thing to note is the corner cat sander doesn't come with a dust bag OR the plastic adapter to accept one! The dust bag from the orbital sander is interchangeable BUT without that plastic adapter to accept it, you can't! AND IT COSTS LIKE $13 TO BUY IT!! 🤬

I decided to buy the real part because it fits tighter and clips in properly so that I don't have to deal with the zip ties. The slot is long and narrow, so you have to clean it out often or else it can get clogged pretty quick when doing a big or messy sanding job. That means having to cut off the zip ties and replace them. It's definitely best to use this one with a vac in of the dust bag

I bought the cordless corner cat sander first on sale, and then found out after the fact that I needed to get a dust bag AND the adapter separately. Since it was bought on sale, I decided to keep it. Then I found out the adapter was back ordered. Then when it came back in stock i was shocked it cost so much. It's $13 now, but at that time it was closer to $20. (They put the tool on sale and bumped up the cost of the accessory)
For $15 I instead ordered a reconditioned CORDED corner cat sander, which doesn't need an adapter (has dust port built into the back of it where the battery goes on the cordless model) and came with the dust bag (worth about &8 by itself and fits on the other sanders, as well as the hand planer).
I eventually bought the adapter for my cordless one though, but mainly use it with a vac instead of the dust bag.
