DON'T buy from mint - best buy has the same deal and you can activate past 45 days but mint is really strict about the activation expiring after 45. You've been warned.

Can I get referral credit if I buy from bestbuy
No. You have to use the referral link to buy the plan from the official website instead of BestBuy to get the referral credit.

Does this deal work if we are porting from Google FI? Since Google FI is counted as T-Mobile will Mint still provide the additional 3 months free?

I had read somewhere that Mint would only provide 3 additional months to those who ported their number over from non-T-Mobile MVNOs. Thanks.
Yes it does. I just ported in from FI.

Ty op ! I seen this deal I was hesitant to switch , I was concerned about poor performance/service. I have 2 lines I switched one and tested the service out and today I switched the 2nd . Mint Service seems great so far ! 90$ 6 months unlimited can't go wrong! I attempted the referral thing with my self it did not work for me.

It doesn't, unless you're transferring multiple lines. This way you participate in Mint's referral program for any lines past the first one, which as you pointed out, is cheaper from BB or Target.
That assume that Mint will give you the credit - I'm in this situation and haven't received anything so far despite being positive the link was used (it showed up in the card "referral used") - should have taken the screenshot - foolish me for not being paranoid.

I didn't receive any email, notification or anything otherwise - support keeps telling me to wait.

I plan on adding a phone and will use Mint. How does the refer bonus work? I bought Mint plan from Best Buy.

See Mint Mobile Refer a Friend [mintmobile.com].
If you are the referred party, the one signing up for Mint, see "See Infrequently Asked Questions" at bottom of the page for your benefits. For the referral to "count", I think you need to sign up for Mint online.

I am a bit confused about my next bill.

I Finally got my SIM card and activated it. I did get 6 months so that's great. However I see a renewal amount (for May 30th) of $75. I am on the 4GB/mo plan so I am confused why it is so expensive, I was expecting $45.

Anybody has the same experience?

$45 is introductory promo offer for 3 mos @ $15/mo. If you switch to annual, you'll get $15/mo ($180 total for 12 mos)

Great, thanks for the explanation ! Didn't realize it was like that, I thought the only perk right now was the 3 month additional for free. Not a big deal, was going to go for yearly payment anyway.

I would not go with Mint Mobile if you value your sanity. Their service is atrocious, and not a good deal at any price. I have a 5G phone and roughly 20% of the time in my area, I have NO DATA SERVICE at all. About 5% of the time, I have NO PHONE SERVICE at all. The same holds true for wife and daughter.

I am regularly downgraded to 2G (Edge) for hours on end, multiple times per day, despite living in a major metropolitan area, well within their supposed coverage map.
