You're not supposed to use regular chrome sockets on an impact wrench. You need the impact rated black sockets. I saw a decent deal on some husky sockets on the front page.
I got a very similar deal to this on their old "Octane" wrench last weekend from DTO for $69. That $69 included the wrench, 2AH battery, charger, SAE impact sockets (boooo), and the obligatory bag. The people at my local DTO are super nice, and gave me a 30% discount when they really weren't supposed to. It probably helps that I'm there every other weekend, and I chat with them a little while every time.

any thoughts?
I mean a high end chrome socket is still better then Chinaman impact rated ones from my experience. Then again I'm working in the 300 or less torque range breaking free Midwest rusted crap
any thoughts?
If you need an impact and want to get into the Ridgid platform, this is a great way to do it. The impact is a powerful mid trq and it comes with a decent size 4ah Max battery and a charger.
Easily. Even the small sub compact wrench removes car, SUV and typical truck lugs.
