Looks like a killer price.

Is there any environmentally conscious version of the ammo?
"These soft super absorbent polymer projectiles fire from the blaster at a high velocity and burst when they hit a target. There's no need to pick up rounds after play"
...so they are plastic (or is it some other polymer?) and you just...leave them everywhere? Nerf doesn't claim they are biodegradable. my brief googling seems to indicate SAP are not biodegradable

I see several reviews that this this is not great and some other brands cost ~$50 and are much better.

It seems worth spending an extra $10 for a higher quality product - any recommendations?

I mean that's my mindset now with all of the darts and rivals lying around my house but this seems like an outside gun lol

I've read about other ones (not specifically nerf) and they're supposedly biodegradable. They're essentially those orbees that kids play with. So it's like a gel after it bursts.

These beads are made of the same material as what is used in soil additive to help retain soil moisture. I can't see these being harmful but who knows what the future holds.

There's nothing left after the beads hit a hard target, not that you can easily find anyway.
