Nothing stopping you, but it will show as currently financed until the 2 years are up, or if you pay it off early. If you choose to pay it off early, the bill credits on your account will continue for the full 2 years, but you'll be able to sell a truly paid off phone.

Just know that the device cannot be unlocked until it has been on the T-Mobile network for 40 days.
I am in the middle of filing a small claims because T-mobile has not credit me any for phones I traded-in 16 months ago. Please tread carefully.
Crappy phones in exchange for your crappy phone.

Can u sell.it once u get it delivered? Anything stopping me for selling it new on ebay once i get it?
You can't unlock it until 2 years, because you'll still have it financed... You want to sell a phone you're still paying off?

Is it worth trading in a Samsung s8+? I don't use it anymore as a phone after switching over to A71 5g

I had a similar situation last year. Had to bug TF out of them to get it resolved. You have my sympathies.
