Unless you have eagle eyes, not much. The viewing angle on an IPS is better, so if you game from a different angle then straight forward, it wont be as clear.

Here is a good comparison of the three types of monitors.

I have 2 of these (upgraded from 27" 144hz).
I really like them. Super responsive for FPS games.
Color profile is pretty good.

Honestly, my main complaint is that the bottom bezel has the smallest extra notch/ledge to it -- zoom into the bottom left or right corners to see. So, it doesn't quite sit flush side by side. You can adjust it but yeah lol.

In terms of 32"

- Looks really awesome doing games in 1440p
- Plenty of space when docking windows side by side
- Just generally easier on the (aging) eyes

I bought the first one for $266 (after taxes).
I bought the second through an Amazon warehouse deal for about $200.

This isn't the same monitor as the Costco deal. Same panel, but the stand on this one is non-adjustable and it's free sync instead of sync. So probably Costco won't price match.

Actually Costco has no price match policy with other vendors.

Appreciate it, I'll hold off. Already have two 27" versions that are IPS.

I have this from a deal last year from walmart. I have this next to a 27in lg ultra gear ips panel. The ips looks better in brightness. But I primarily use the 32 for gaming. With the preset gamer 2 profile. Great monitor for price.

Would I notice the lower pixel density going from 27" 1440p?

My Monitor died and system can't push 4k

for sure, but if you are older or wear glasses / have bad eyesight then it may be a good thing. Its walmart, worse case if you don't like it, return it. Personally I prefer my 32" 1440p monitor over my 27" 1440p monitor gaming.
