Does the music control app close once the screen turns off or is it always running
Mainly just want one to control music while I'm walking.

Have been buying mi band since 2 up to 5. Grasshopper had the mi bands at great price, also great coupon discounts. The best version and the one I use is the 4 because it fulfills my needs and most important is that I charge it once every 20 days!
Does the 7 Pro CN come in English by default? How many days do you get (normal use) without charging? NFC is not important for me.
Every 20 days? I usually charge once every 2 weeks.

I had the Mi band 2, 4, 6 and agree with you on most stuff, especially best time to charge is when taking a shower and it's always just ready afterwards and battery lasts easily a week. However I wanted to know if you got the 7 Pro working with Zepp Life app or is it only Mi Fitness app for now? and if so, is it decent? I care most about Google Fit sync, sleep stats, workout stats (VO2 Max), and even syncing with the Mi Smart Scale stats in the same app. NFC no biggie, but for the price and customizable features (setting up which apps' notifications show up on watch) and great battery life keeps me always coming back.

Even as enticing the Pixel Watch can seem, the Fitbit subscription requirement for decent feedback and high upfront costs $300+ are such a dealbreaker that Xiaomi wins for at least next few years.

Tempting, but I've only had my current Honor Band 6 that I purchased for around $18 from a previous SD for about 3 or 4 months now.

Also wanted to mention that this does have NFC for anyone who's interested. I don't know if I'm blind, but it's first mention I saw is waaay down the product page in one of the images.

I had a Garmin Vivoactive HR a few years ago. It was decent cause battery life but the screen was like e-ink and I didn't like sleep stats on there, lack of analysis, and biggest issue was inability to sync easily with Google fit which just works a lot better with multiple apps. The Garmin may make more sense if you're an athlete.

Stopped using my Amazefit watch ever since my phone antivirus kept reporting zepp app sending data to Chinese servers. I uninstalled the app and just get the readings from the watch. While these watches are cheap I don't like the fact they data mine your phone I don't like giving away my privacy to an unknown entity

Pixel watch advertised battery life is pathetic and for actual use you can be sure it will be pure trash just like their phones
It's definitely completely different than Xiaomi and is designed to be more of apple watch competitor. For me I'm a huge fan of Google pixel phones which trash as much as you like, I still find it to be the best and with unlocked bootloader and adfree experience is phenomenal for myself and the pixel A series are tremendously great value. Google Fi you can do $9 a month for 2 years, keep the phone and cancel subscription. Fully unlocked for any carrier. Hard to beat that for almost $200

This is my main concern. I'm not so worried about my privacy but more about my security and how much access they'll have to financial apps and stuff if you're using it on the same phone.

relax,NSA probably will buy back your data from some data broker later. So your data will be in safe hands eventually.
