For a long tripod/selfie-stick that has an attached remote, this one might be more fitting:
https://www.amazon.com/Newest-Sel...r_hp_atf_m

or similarly:
https://www.amazon.com/%F0%9D%97%...264&sr=1-3

The pictures don't show it, but there is a silicone holder that the remote fits into. I got one of these recently (been tracking it to a lowest price of ~$15) but also got one similar to this UBeesize one a while back, and I like the EUCOS one better as it has a smoother frame to hold. It's not as stable as the feet don't open as wide, so the better tripod to get depends on how you want to use the tripod. ~$9 is a pretty slick price for something like this UBeesize one.

If you don't need the versatility of adapting to a Go-Pro, I would recommend these instead. Much more streamlined/compact (relatively) because everything collapses into the main body. Nothing sticks out. I have these in both sizes.

Smaller

Larger

The remote is rechargeable via micro-usb so you never have to worry about finding a less than common coin battery the night before you need the tripod/selfie stick. And it snaps into the body!

I bought one. I just wish it had a place to hold the remote on the tripod. Less awkward when using it as selfie stick. It also has limited panning options if you plan to use this to take video or panoramic photos.

I thought the same thing when it came, it does have a slot where you could attach it to your keys or maybe fashion a string or something to attach it to the tripod

Great options ty for sharing, I have (2) phone tripod stands and lost the phone holders somewhere. An all in one piece is so much better

I know right? I have another selfie stick from 5 years ago with the exact same problem. I can't find the phone holder anymore as I always remove it for compact travel. Selfie sticks without anything jutting out also slide in and out of a crowded backpack more easily.

The ones I bought have their own compromises but they are the best that I found after a ton of searching.

Does one really need a 60" over a 50" or over 40" ?

SD effect, got both the 50" and now the 67" from the same company Ubeesize... Going to compare both and return one maybe or keep both if I can justify $9 vs $6 spending... My immediate use for this is to record tennis serving/hitting forms from various angles since the over the fence angle is not great...

Yeah? In terms of SELFIE pics alone, anyone over 6 feet you would look quite odd in a lot of pics taken at 40", unless the tripod was distanced further away. Even then its not ideal, youd want closer to eye level. 40 inches gives a weird low angle shot otherwise, like you're desperately trying to make yourself look taller and thus creepier.

Thanks for sharing.
For the larger, do you recommend the 51" or the 60" ?
