My recent purchase from them via eBay came basically DOA. The LiDAR didn't work at all, so it wouldn't do anything except turn on and throw an error. They have been responsive just a pain, asked for video proof, debugging and having to ship it back ect. I have shipped it back and am waiting for a reply. I did asked if they check outgoing items and there response was a lot of words that means no:
"Usually, the refurbished device we are selling are 70-90% brand new and it should work well without any problem. For this item, it's needed further rigorous examination by our technicians."
I'm guessing it will work out but in this case it's been a hassle.

The s7 can handle multiple types of floors, you basically have it map the house and then use the room function to edit the rooms. Then once you have the map done you can configure the treatment for each room. For wood floors I wouldn't use the mop function, even on the light mop setting too much water gets on the pad and can damage the wood. We just use vacuum on wood and then just spray/wipe those manually every other week with proper equipment

On tile the mop function is ok. It streaks pretty bad. The best way we have gotten it to work is to just use water in the tank but spray the floor randomly with a clorox hand spray. Do a run. Switch the pad and then have it run again. We run ours every week from the mopping perspective and the first run pad is pretty dirty everytime for just a 400sqft room.

So we just do it room by room.

This device is good if you can do the room by room method, but in a 4k Sq ft house, it's mopping function isn't really a mop...more a wet swifer. So unless you do what I said above and swap pads every 300 Sq ft or so and dbl run it....you'll just be pushing dirt around your floors.

When we first got it and tried to do the whole house...didn't work out so well. Now we have our system down so it works to set it up to run while doing something else.

I see zero benefit to the filling station add on....as it doesn't clean or swap put the pad. So that's a huge waste of money

Which App works for E4 vacuum. I see multiple apps for Roborock/Mi, none of them find the vacuum on the app. I tried all the apps. Please help

The Allstate Proptection Plan is a scam and I think Roborock cancelled my warranty when I contacted them. I bought the roborock S6 from a former SD link. It worked great until exactly 1 year later when it stopped working, giving out an internal error 106. I contacted roborock who gave me a few things to try. I tried all the things and then contacted Allstate. Allstate told me to contact ebay and that they could do nothing. Ebay said the seller, Roborock Official, cancelled the warranty - super susEEK! I am waiting to hear from Roborock. The Allstate Protection Plans are a scam. Don't buy these vacuums and don't rely on the warranty. I have records of everything I have stated here. I am trying to figure out what to do now, but DON'T BUY THESE!

You have to use MiHome for the E4. If you YouTube Wi-Fi set up for the E4 a video will walk you through the steps.

Just got mine. Constantly stops every time it mildly bumps into something with error 2 bumper stuck. Even opened it to bend out the bumper tabs some (maybe need to crank on them, but shouldn't have to do anything like this to a 'refurbished' product).
