You can earn it through credit card spend points, but you can also earn it through other ways such as referral points for referring people to get the card and/or spending through the spending portal or spend partners. In years past, I have gotten the companion pass pretty early in the calendar year with one card's large bonus + referral points from a few people who signed up.
If you are targeting the companion pass, get the card now, but remember not to complete the full initial spend of $3,000 until late December 2022 or Jan 2023 -- and after your December billing statement closes (but still before the 3 month window from when you were approved). This is so you get the bonus in 2023. Then do other things in 2023 to get to 135,000 qualifying points, and you will have a companion pass for the rest of 2023 and all of 2024.

I would keep the Ink and apply for SW business. If they don't approve you for more credit, you can ask them to convert some of the Ink credit at that time.

You can apply as soon as possible but you shouldn't have received the bonus in last 2 year

I am the OP on this deal. The OP link doesnt show you the two options for two different BIZ card offers. It only shows the Performance Biz ($5,000 spend $199 annual fee and 80k bonus).
But there are two biz cards....PERFORMANCE BIZ card and the PREMIER BIZ card.
If you DM me, I can send you the link that has both offers (75,000 on all the personal cards...and one Biz card for 60,000 bonus points and one is 80,000 bonus points.)
(Premier Biz is the lesser 60,000 bonus points, but only $99 annual fee and only $3,000 spend instead of 80k, $199, and 5k spend)
Something else to consider. If you are targeting a companion pass with a biz and individ card, you will only need the $75k+60k anyway.
I am telling you specifically about this because it would be 'safer' for you to apply for the 'other' biz card. If you read the TERMS of the BIZ card, there should be no way they can deny you the 'other' biz card. That's how I read it. Read it for yourself...
"This new Cardmember bonus offer is not available to either (i) current Cardmembers of this business credit card, or (ii) previous Cardmembers of this business credit card who received a new Cardmember bonus for this business credit card within the last 24 months"
note the words "this" business credit card.

Premiere and a personal card are all you need to get the companion pass.

Go to Google...type in Chase refer a friend. Go to that link....put in her last name, zip and last 4 digits....and a referral link will come up.

For companion pass qualification, all the needed points need to come into (a) One person's Account and (b) hit within the same calendar year.
Your wife could qualify for a Business card and get more bonus points.
But if her bonus already 'hit' in 2022, you need the business bonus to 'hit' in 2022 too to stack them for companion pass purposes. (and even then...the companion pass would only be good for rest of 2022, and 2023)
You can't straddle the calendar year with two bonsuses.
What everyone here is trying to do is this (to get a quick companion pass).
1. time the personal bonus to hit in Jan or Feb 2023 and
2. time the biz bonus to hit in Jan or Feb 2023
so the companion pass is good for the rest of 2023, and all of 2024.
