4-Piece Crosswater 590-4 Fly Fishing Combo Kit (5WT 9') $81.99

You seriously can't go wrong at this price (so get 2). I already have a "guest" rod I bought a while back for visitors, but this is a GREAT deal -- especially if you're starting out. You'll be able to use this rod for many, many years before you'll feel you need to upgrade.
Note that they have a lot of other fly fishing kit on sale:

Including the Path II - Again you'd want a 5 wt 9 ft for starting out:

Honestly I'd probably spend the extra $10 and get the Path II, but both are solid choices--anything under $100 for a full kit is an amazing deal.

No problem with site at all.
I've used my Amazon prime and everything went through successfully.
Planning on replace reel on this Redington rod anyway, because one which came with it is made completely of plastic and wouldn't last for long.

I dont know about the Crosswater but the Path is a decent rod. Looks like a good combo price but unfortunately I think the reel is carbon fiber which makes the combo deal a bit meh... Still, you can trust that Reddington makes a pretty good entry level budget rod.
Be ready to buy a new fly line though, especially if you're in a cooler climate. The combo I got had terrible line memory from being pre-spooled and I couldn't get the coils out by stretching the line (I tied the leader to a fencepost and stretched the whole line by about 3 feet) or soaking it in hot water. Maybe I just got unlucky.
If you're trying to get into fly fishing for the absolute lowest price, this is pretty much it. The cheapest alternative would be a good old yellow Eagle Claw fiberglass rod with a Martin Caddis Creek reel. That might save you a few bucks, but you wouldn't get the rod tube.
I'd love to try fly fishing but I have ZERO experience. Any advice on which kit/size/weight(?) I should get? I may actually get 2 so I could take someone with me. Thanks. I live in the Midwest if that matters ( no saltwater for many miles!)

If you're near a lot of small cold water streams and creeks, you might want to go down to the 4wt or even 3wt. A lighter rod is super fun for catching small trout.
