I've got these lights the past 3 seasons, and I would say spend your money on something else, unless you want to buy new ones each season. These do NOT last more than a season. First half the stand goes out, then the rest. If you want to claim the warranty, you have to pay to ship them back, which cost the same or more than what you paid for the strand. Read reviews... This is a common complaint.

We bought just short of 100 boxes of these in January in the $2-3 range. We are starting to light up our backyard as well since we can see them more from the kitchen and dining room. If you don't need the lights this season it's best to wait it out until they go on clearance. Be patient and you'll see them get down to 75% off.

Is this supposed to be some kind of deal? It is NOT. Seems like regular price. I bought 24 boxes of 100 ct clear LED light strings at Walmart a couple weeks ago for $6 a box. $5.98 I think.

I bought GE on clearance from other stores before and I kind of agree that they really don't last that long. I have had great luck with Sylvania though. I think Sylvania is superior quality and will last you atleast 5 seasons if not more.

Agree with this post 100%, exact same thing happened to every single GE strand I bought from Lowes. Absolute garbage, but for one season they will work fine.

Man! I don't know why but I've always loved that expression. Something comforting about hot cakes like a warm summers day.

I second this^

I bought my lights from my local Lowe's store. I was on my rooftop 6+ times last winter trying to replace bulbs, fuses, etc, only to find out none of the bulbs or fuses were shot - these lights just randomly and sporadically stop working, more frequently as time goes on to the point where 3 strands were completely broken and useless by the end of the season.

The company simply doesn't stand by their product. They ask for all sorts of tedious information across multiple emails (each which take days to receive a response), like brentjeremy said - you pay shipping worth more than the lights, and then they simply send you a replacement of the same crappy product.
