I have both the hard lid and the soft cover and I put an upside down flower pot on top of my lid to make a peak in the middle so water can roll off the soft cover

Perfect! I bought the premium cover when I bought the griddle a few weeks ago. The cover is awesome, but it dips in the middle and I imagine over time, it will allow water in if it pools. Having this will pitch the cover, so the water won't pool, hopefully making everything last longer.

This a great deal! Personally I keep my blackstone in the garage so a built wooden cover that slots over the top and sides but at this price point it's a no Brainer.

I've never seen a residential dishwasher that could fit this item either. Seems like the last paragraph isn't entirely accurate. I don't think it's plastic handles as described in Amazon description nor stainless steel unless referring to handles? Still great deal though & snagged it. In reviews a lot of these arrive dented or damaged from Amazon so I will open mine asap in case it needs replaced when I get it.

honest question, what do you guys cook on your griddle? Besides like breakfast foods and grilled cheeses, I can't think of anything that would be better on the blackstone over a grill ... I'm looking for reasons to buy one lol
