What's really weird is if I go to Account>Shop With Points, I can see all of my enrolled accounts including my Citi card, and on this page it shows me my total points available and the dollar amount it's worth. However when I go to checkout, it says that my points balance is unavailable. I've talked to both Amazon and Citi and they're clueless. Has anyone else run into this?
1. Your thank you points are shown on the bottom of your front page of your account. I circled them in red. Click on View and redeem.
2. Redemption options.
3. Direct deposit to your account. For example, I entered $1.
I'm assuming they are steering more of these promos to Prime members (as they have been doing with other discounts and promos).

Yes I can find it (although my first page doesnt look like yours) but they are pushing for every other way to redeem than cash it seems. There is also a redirect to "Thank you points" and a scroll down to the bottom to select cash a 2nd time between your 2nd and 3rd screen shot. I must not have been on for a while, nice check coming in the mail soon. Also may be my account setting for security but when I select the cash option and add to my cart, when I check out, I have to type in a 8 digit code they send to my phone before finalizing.
Sorry, there was a problem registering your Citi credit card. Customers with cards issued in the US - please call the ThankYou Service Center at 1-800-THANKYOU (842-6596). Customers with cards issued outside the US - please click here for contact information. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I'm guessing this is targeted and is likely YMMV but hopefully can help someone out. You have to link your Citibank card to your Amazon account and use some Thank You points (you don't have to pay in full with Thank You points, I did 20 cents worth of Thank You points and it worked fine) and you should see the discount. I believe it may be for the ol' "Shipped and sold by Amazon" products as I had one item that did not accept the discount but you can try it out to see if it works. Attached is a screen shot of the notice of the discount as well as the terms.
