It's MSRP is $1,500, but it's currently on sale for $1k. I'd prefer new for $120 more either way.

I bought one the other day. Returnable through January. More than enough time to make sure it doesn't have any issues.

Looks like $45 in most cases…

I just got mine. Like new condition. Really small and light. Beautiful screen. Speakers pretty good for such a small laptop. Runs a bit warm. All in all, a good deal at nearly half price.

I don't believe that is correct. Per Best Buy:

Activatable devices (excluding prepaid phones)

$45

Drones, DSLR cameras and lenses, mirrorless cameras and lenses, electric bikes, electric mopeds, leg and body recovery systems, premium camcorders, projectors, projector screens, and special-order products are 15% of purchase price for restocking fee.

So for years I've been trying to wrap my head around why I should own a Chromebook over a standard PC.

Any feedback?

I know the whole MS office suite can be used on ChromeOS but as a Windows 10 user for work and a 2015 Macbook Pro i7 I'm trying to understand why I would want a Samsung or any Chromebook. Like what would be the benefits?

I'm connected to a C1 55 inch for both so I have OLED already and have a 12.9 ipad pro with keyboard.

It's like the sneakers sales they have on SD where you know you don't need it but can't miss out on a good deal.

The FOMO is real.

I'm not sure if I understand your question. This is a Windows machine using x86 architecture not ARM like most Chromebooks. Did you think this uses a Android OS?

This is a plenty powerful laptop but it uses the more efficient P CPU at the cost of some performance compared to a H one.

This is a windows device, but to answer your question:
ChromeOS is just very simple to use for most people and a great device to give to a kid. You can install many android apps and it has great battery life and most of the time the cost is low as well.

Windows is OS and ARM is a processor. Please stop mixing it up.

Ah yes. My mistake. I mixed Samsung up with it being a Chromebook version. So sorry.

Do you have a link to a good deal on an LG gram or similar top tier with a H performance CPU?
