Samsung.com sucked on deals last year and this year so far.
I don't have a surface so I can't compare it to a surface.
True story. Trade in for an S8 just isn't worth the upgrade to an S9.

How do these compare to the XPS 13? I have the 9315 with 12th gen 1250u and need a second unit with similar battery life and portability. I assume the 1260p would be a decent power boost.

I might look into buying this for college, how does this compare to the likes of the surface pro when it comes to use of the pen?

To ask GreyTent's questioon from another angle, how does this pen compare to Tab S9 and S22 ultra pens?

By the way, GreyTent, I think a big thing missing compared to Surface Pro is the kickstand; any time you're at a desk, you'll be missing that slight tilt you can get with Surface Pro. With a 2 in 1 laptop, it's either flimsy in its tilted position, or awkwardly thick sitting atop the desk lying flat.

It's the same pen as the Galaxy tablet line of devices.
Can't compare to a Surface, but I like the galaxy pen better than the one on my Dell 5290 2-in-1

But the keyboard for the surface pro is too flimsy for my tastes. You can definitely type on it but after 30 min you can def tell you're less efficient vs a fixed keyboard like this one has. With my SP I ended up carrying an extra keyboard if I needed serious work done which defeats the purpose of the form factor
