I got this exact version when it came out for around 900 something but it came with a 32 inch monitor bundled. They've been stingy about firesaling the gen 2 like they did with the gen 1s. This product is like their vacuums and freestyle projector, where we lament about it still being too expensive.
Tbh I regretted the purchase because I was just paying for the name and not anything special with specs. Whereas a galaxy phone does have the internal specs to match the higher price.
For just a small productivity laptop I'd go with the Acer Swift edge deal right now. I have the previous Gen of this acer and I use it way more. The 1080p 16:9 galaxy book pro2 just doesn't get as much use from me with the inferior screen. Now if you'll use the spen that's a different story.
But yeah, laptops have come a long way since the release of the galaxy book 2 line. oleds are a lot more common now
edit: just realized comparing a 16 inch laptop to a 13 isn't fair
