Great concept, but needs to be better built. I had this exact model and within 6 months it was leaking through the valve. Also the holding mechanism on the chuck mars valve stem threads. Recommend to avoid.

This is an air compressor accessory but I guess you could use it as a stand alone air gauge if you really wanted. I've got one and I've tested against 2 other everyday tire pressure gauges and all 3 give me the same readings. No complaints here.

I've had one for a few years. No problems with leaking through the valve for me. But I agree that chuck is not great. I ended up replacing the chuck on mine after about a year.

I've had one for several years and I mostly agree. Mine has yet to start leaking fortunately, but the chuck could definitely use some improvement. It never really locks on tight enough to seal and I have to hold it on like a normal chuck. The chuck can be screwed off and possibly replaced with a better one, but I've not looked for one yet. The automatic backlight is great in a dim garage, although it seems to time out after 2 tires and I need to push the button if I need it for the other two.
Even with all that said, it's still pretty handy to have around. Pull the trigger to fill and let off to check pressure. Just pop it on the compressor and I can have all 4 tires done in 5 minutes. Very handy since my stupid aluminum wheels will need to be topped off weekly throughout winter. I'm tempted to grab another one of these for when mine eventually gives up.

I bought this Aug 2021 for ~$5 more than this deal and use it regularly. No leaks or problems yet. I check it periodically against other gauges (because I'm paranoid) and it' remains accurate. The valve stem clip works well when you have enough clearance and is super convenient. I'll never push it anywhere near the "claimed" 250 psi, but it's been good for my front RV tires up to 75 psi. For the price, I might even buy another one for back up or to give to a family member. Thanks OP!

Why digital for these? Is it just for the backlight? It doesn't necessarily make it more accurate and it means you're keeping working batteries in it, which is a pain for a primarily outdoor tool.

It doesn't really inflate, it is basically just a pressure meter.
Do you have it connected to an air compressor?

So what else do I need to actually inflate a cars tire at home? This connects to something right?
Just keep squeezing that trigger.
