Still decent, but over a dollar more per TB at $15.56/TB, with the 14TB coming in at $14.21/TB. I suppose if you're shucking and density is important w/ NAS's and what not, I'd go with the 18. I picked up two of the 14's myself. I'll be squatting on 'em (not really). I landed the same driver for $189 ... 700+ days ago. runs like a champ, heavily I might add.

Can't say I'm not a touch envious. Hoping to add a few 20's this year. Although I might save it for next. Storage prices have a way of going all over the place even on a regular Tuesday.

It may not go below that this year, considering it didn't go below it the year after I bought my first one, 2 years ago now. Maybe this years the year Smilie At least throw us some 18's for $14/TB! Smilie

Yeah I have seen some consistently good deals on those. I'm not real positive all the great deals on anything really are to be had on BF -season- just more fear of missing out.

It all depends on the specific series and model, not brand. The Toshiba I got is enterprise MG series.

Same, although someone in the last Toshiba 12TB MG thread was basically insistent that the 5yr warranty didn't apply because it was Newegg selling the drive bare.
Based on the Newegg product description, and more importantly how my serial number came up in the Toshiba warranty check, I think they're wrong.... but it's something to consider vs a deal like this where there should be no warranty questions at all (unless maybe you shuck it AND are very paranoid).
